We Last Longer was born in September 2011 with the aim of spreading independent diy music in a free digital way, since then on November 2012 the domain was taken down due to copyright claims and yet again on June 2013. The ideas behind this site is that the digital copy of music should be free, as long as the use is confined to your personal entertain and not for making a profit; the work and ideas that a band tries to communicate through music has a value that must be supported by going to their shows, buying some merch or record, because you are free to listen to anything you want, as long as a support is given. These ideas are deeply rooted in the DIY (Do It Yourself) punk/hardcore scene. And a different way of intellectual property is already a reality, see here.
“Punk rock should mean freedom. Liking and accepting anything that you like. Playing whatever you want, as sloppy as you want. As long as it’s good and it has passion”
